On2Air Backups and KeepMyBase both copy Airtable bases into storage you own, including the attachment files. On2Air offers more bases for the money, more frequent schedules and restores into Airtable. KeepMyBase runs daily on every plan, also writes to S3-compatible buckets, and checks every file in every copy. Details below are from On2Air's public pricing page, checked October 17, 2026.

When On2Air is the better choice
- You have many bases. At $49.99, On2Air's Professional plan covers 50 bases with daily backups. KeepMyBase's Growth plan covers 20 bases for $59.
- You need hourly backups. KeepMyBase runs once a day.
- Your files are in OneDrive, Dropbox or Box. KeepMyBase supports Google Drive and S3-compatible storage only.
- You want restores done for you. On2Air restores bases into Airtable; with KeepMyBase you import the archive yourself.
- You only need a monthly copy of one base. On2Air Starter at $9.99 is cheaper.
When KeepMyBase is the better choice
- You want the copy in an S3 bucket. Amazon S3, Cloudflare R2, Wasabi, Backblaze B2, DigitalOcean Spaces or your own MinIO, with a key limited to one bucket or folder. That lets you use lifecycle rules, versioning or object lock. See backing up Airtable to S3.
- You need daily backups of a few bases. Daily runs are on every KeepMyBase plan; On2Air's daily schedule starts at Professional.
- You want to verify the backup without the tool. Each copy includes a manifest with a checksum for every file, and is read back and checked before it's marked complete. A failed or incomplete run emails you the reason, and the last complete copy stays in place.
- You plan to rebuild a base from files. Records keep their Airtable IDs and links are saved as IDs, so linked records reconnect exactly. The free recovery tool checks an archive and prepares import files. See restoring Airtable from a backup.
Moving from On2Air to KeepMyBase
- Keep On2Air running. Your existing On2Air backups stay in your storage either way.
- Create a KeepMyBase account, connect Airtable and your Google Drive or bucket, and create a backup for each base.
- Wait for the first copy of each base to complete, and open one to check it.
- Turn on the daily schedule in KeepMyBase, then cancel On2Air.
Both tools read Airtable through its API. If your workspace is on Airtable's Free or Team plan, running them side by side for a few days uses more of its monthly API allowance.
