Who these terms apply to

KeepMyBase is operated by Northstar Labs, Norway. These terms form an agreement between Northstar Labs and the person or business using the service. Contact us at help@keepmybase.com.

By creating an account or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these terms. If you act for a business, you must have authority to accept them for that business. KeepMyBase is intended for business and professional use by adults.

Your account

Use an email address you control and keep your account information accurate. Sign-in uses an email code or an available Google sign-in option. Protect access to those accounts and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Each account has one owner. You are responsible for the connections, schedules, storage permissions, and activity you authorize through it.

Backup coverage and recovery

KeepMyBase captures supported records, table metadata, and attachment files from selected Airtable bases into a storage destination you authorize. The archive guide explains the format, coverage, and recovery steps. Your plan and configuration determine capacity and retention limits.

Captures depend on source access, provider availability, API limits, and destination capacity. Data can change while a capture runs. Review capture results and any reported incomplete files, and test that your archives meet your recovery needs.

Recovery uses exported records, files, and source mappings. Airtable interfaces, automations, comments, revision history, sharing permissions, and exact view configuration remain outside the archive's coverage. A saved setup draft is not a completed backup.

Your data and connected services

You retain ownership of your data and archives. You give us permission to access, process, transfer, verify, and remove data as needed to carry out the backup and retention settings you choose. This permission ends when the relevant connection or service ends, apart from processing required by law.

You must have the rights and permissions needed to connect your accounts and process their contents. Keep source access and storage credentials valid, maintain enough storage space, and follow your providers' terms. Storage provider charges are separate from your KeepMyBase subscription.

Our privacy policy explains account data and connected data handling. Where we process personal data on your business's behalf, an applicable data processing agreement governs that processing.

Subscriptions and payment

A paid subscription begins when you complete checkout. Creating an account or saving a setup draft does not create a paid subscription. The checkout displays your plan, price, billing interval, and applicable taxes before you pay.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the stated interval until canceled. You authorize our payment provider, Stripe, to collect those payments. Prices are in USD; applicable taxes and your bank's currency conversion or card fees may be additional.

Plan allowances apply across the bases selected for your account. If usage exceeds an allowance, affected captures can be restricted until you reduce scope or change plans. Any plan change and its charge take effect as shown before you confirm it.

Cancellation and billing questions

Cancel through your account's subscription controls or contact help@keepmybase.com. Cancellation stops future renewals. Paid access continues until the end of the current paid period, unless you request account deletion or the service must be suspended. Scheduled captures continue during that period; automatic retention cleanup stops as soon as you cancel.

Contact us about an incorrect charge or a refund request. Any specific refund or trial offer will be stated before purchase. These terms preserve any refund, cancellation, or other rights you have under applicable law.

Retention, disconnection, and deletion

While a backup schedule is active, its retention setting authorizes removal of older KeepMyBase snapshots in its dedicated folder or bucket prefix. KeepMyBase's retention workflow must preserve the latest complete archive and unrelated files. Your storage provider's own lifecycle rules and permissions can also affect files.

Removing a schedule, disconnecting its destination, or ending the subscription stops future capture and retention work for it. Completed archives remain in your storage, under your control. Account deletion removes the account and saved credentials from our active service; records required for legal, billing, or security purposes are handled as described in the privacy policy.

Acceptable use

Use KeepMyBase lawfully. Do not access another person's data without permission, bypass account or usage restrictions, distribute malware, interfere with the service, or use it to infringe others' rights. We can restrict access when necessary to address a security threat, unlawful activity, nonpayment, or a material breach of these terms. We will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve it when reasonably possible and legally permitted.

Availability and changes to the service

We aim to provide the service with reasonable care. Maintenance, provider outages, revoked permissions, and API changes can interrupt captures. KeepMyBase does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or recovery of data outside its documented coverage.

We can improve or change the service. We will give reasonable advance notice of a material reduction in paid functionality, a price change affecting renewal, or discontinuation, except when an urgent security or legal issue requires faster action. Price increases apply to a future renewal after notice.

Ownership of the service

Northstar Labs and its licensors retain the rights to the KeepMyBase software, design, and branding. Your subscription permits you to use the service under these terms. This does not transfer ownership of the software or affect your ownership of the content you back up.

Responsibility and liability

You are responsible for choosing suitable coverage, reviewing capture results, and maintaining your connected accounts. We are responsible for performing our service obligations with reasonable care.

To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits. Northstar Labs' total liability arising from the service is limited to the subscription fees you paid during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply to fraud, deliberate misconduct, gross negligence, or liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit.

Updates to these terms

We can update these terms and will show the revised date on this page. We will notify account owners of material changes before they take effect, unless an urgent legal or security requirement prevents advance notice. If you disagree with a change, you can cancel before it applies to your next renewal. Changes do not remove rights relating to events that happened under an earlier version.

Governing law and contact

Norwegian law governs these terms, subject to any mandatory protections that apply to you. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts as determined by applicable law. For a service or billing question, contact Northstar Labs at help@keepmybase.com so we can try to resolve it.
